H. Elam raced in a national multiclass endurance series in the United States, competing in the Super Touring 2 class at a developing amateur level. The driver made five starts across NASA between 2007 and 2008, racing solo in a closed-wheel car among a field that mixed amateurs and semi-professionals with graded professionals on the same circuit.[1]
Elam's racing was confined to two seasons. The driver finished 26th in the 2008 NASA championship standings after competing in three rounds that year. Against the regular opponents in the series, Elam typically finished behind P. Kaiser and W. Hessami, both developing-level drivers who had competed more extensively in NASA; the driver finished ahead of Hessami once across their meetings.[2]
