Jay Troxell is a club-level driver racing in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass endurance championship where production-based cars from multiple classes share the track in each race and are piloted by rotating driver lineups. He competes across the series' Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 categories and has been active in the series since 2019.[1]
Across seven seasons he has started 20 races and taken one win and four podiums. His current 2026 campaign is still in progress with three rounds raced so far, and he sits 14th in the championship standings.[2]
Troxell races regularly against semi-professional drivers including Thomas Lee, the 2024 and 2025 American Endurance Racing Class 2 champion, though he typically finishes behind him. He is closely matched with Jessica Tracy, also a semi-professional and the 2024 Class 5 champion. He has beaten Mike Skeen, an FIA Silver-graded professional with 49 IMSA WeatherTech starts and a 2020 Trans-Am TA2 title, once across their meetings in the series. He has also finished ahead of entry-level professional Nathan Saxon twice.
