Joe Moholland is a developing driver whose racing career spans seven seasons from 2013 to 2022 across national multiclass championships in the United States. He raced primarily in NASA's Super Touring and Super Unlimited classes in a Chevrolet Corvette, competing in grids mixing amateur, semi-professional and professional drivers across up to 25 classes per race. He also contested SCCA Majors and Regionals in GT2 silhouette machinery and made six starts in Trans-Am's SGT production-based class.[1]
Across 29 career starts, Moholland took two wins and seven podiums. His recorded wins came in NASA competition, including a Super Touring 1 victory at VIR where he lapped the field two seconds faster than his competitors. He finished tenth in the Trans-Am championship standings in 2020, his final season of racing.[2]
His regular opponents in SCCA Majors competition included Tim Kezman, the 2021 SCCA Runoffs GT2 champion, and Jorge Nazario, the 2025 Runoffs GT2 champion; Moholland typically finished behind both. He did beat entry-level professionals on occasion, twice defeating Robert Gewirtz, a Bronze-graded NASA competitor, and once finishing ahead of Adrian Wlostowski, an entry-level professional with 64 Trans-Am TA2 starts.
