Joel Furey competed in club racing at the level of competitive amateurs; his rating of 1,055 places him in the developing-to-club band, meaning he raced in regional fields against other self-funded drivers rather than in professional championships. His record spans six starts across two seasons, from 2008 to 2011, concentrated in PCA Club Racing where he scored two wins and three podiums from five rounds in 2008.
