Scott Gerard raced at club level in national multiclass sprint racing, competing in PCA Club Racing and NASA between 2005 and 2012. He drove Porsches in PCA's C and H classes and a German-badged car in NASA's GTS3 class, primarily for Mantissport in his NASA outings.[1]
Over seven seasons Gerard took seven wins and seventeen podiums from forty-nine starts. His strongest period came in 2012, his final season in PCA Club Racing, when he won three of three rounds contested and finished thirteenth in the championship standings. He was most consistent in PCA Club Racing, where he accumulated six wins across the eight years he raced there, and took a win in one of his nine NASA starts.[2]
Gerard typically finished ahead of developing drivers who shared his regular circuits. He usually beat Michael Vietz, also a club-level PCA regular, and ran closely matched with John Amardeil across both series. He beat competitive amateur Scott Berkowitz once in NASA racing and Tim Pruitt, a club-level driver with extensive NASA experience, once in single-car competition.
