Paul Orwicz raced in PCA Club Racing, a national multiclass championship run in the United States where amateur and professional drivers share the same track. He drove a Porsche in the GTC3 class and competed for two seasons between 2004 and 2005.[1]
Orwicz started 12 times across his indexed career and took one win and eight podiums, finishing 36th in the 2005 championship standings. His best season was his first, in 2004, when he won a championship in PCA Club Racing.[2]
His record placed him among the mid-field regulars in his class. He finished ahead of Leh Keen, who went on to race professionally in Porsche Carrera Cup North America and IMSA WeatherTech, on two occasions. He typically beat Tim Rosengrant, a fellow club-level regular with nearly 30 PCA Club Racing starts, and ran closely matched with Steve Johnson, another developing driver in the same series.
