Johan Schwartz is a semi-professional racing across multiple national series in the United States. He holds an FIA Bronze grade, an amateur classification within endurance and GT racing. His primary focus is on multiclass endurance racing, where he shares a car with co-drivers in series including American Endurance Racing, GT4 America, and IMSA Pilot Challenge; he also competes in solo sprint racing through BMW CCA Club Racing and SCCA events. He races for teams including 89x Motorsports and TechSport Racing.[1]

Schwartz has spent 17 seasons racing across nine series since 2008. His foundation came in NASA competition from 2008 to 2016, where he scored 16 wins and 28 podiums across 47 starts in an Acura RSX. He won the 2009 NASA championship with BMW. Since moving into endurance racing through American Endurance Racing in 2016, he has taken 38 starts with 3 wins and 16 podiums across multiple classes. His GT4 America campaign in 2023 and 2024 yielded 3 podiums from 15 starts in the Pro-Am class. He won the 2026 SCCA Regionals championship, going 3 for 3 in that series with three podiums. In his current 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo season he has taken 1 win and 4 podiums from 10 starts so far.[2]

Schwartz typically finishes ahead of developing drivers he races regularly, including Robert Patton and Fred Switzer. He has beaten established professionals including Conor Daly, a 2010 Star Mazda champion who has raced 133 IndyCar starts and 43 GP3 entries, and Kenton Koch, who holds multiple recent championships including the 2025 GT4 America Silver title and 2025 GT World Challenge America Pro championship. His most recent activity places him 17th in the Zenith Racing Series standings with rounds still to run.
