Jon Allen is a competitive amateur who raced single-seater and spec car championships in the United States between 2006 and 2018. He competed in NASA's national multiclass series, primarily in its Spec E30 class of production BMW E30 3-series, and made two appearances in the SKUSA SuperNationals, the sport's premier amateur karting and car championship.[1]

Allen took three wins across 12 NASA starts over a nine-year span from 2009 to 2018, finishing on the podium in six of those races. His record in SuperNationals competition consisted of two starts in the SuperPro class. His strongest performances came against drivers racing at or above his own level; he beat John Bennett, a professional with substantial experience in GB3 and Formula 2, on one occasion, and defeated Logan Gomez, an entry-level professional with a full Star Mazda Championship campaign to his name, once as well.[2]

Allen ran closely matched against the regular competitors in his field, trading results with Robert Grace, a semi-professional regular on NASA with over 200 starts, and with Carter Hunt, a club-level driver who became a frequent opponent across more than 100 NASA races.
