Francesco Rizzi was a competitive amateur racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass endurance championship where multiple classes of amateur and professional drivers shared the same grid. He raced shared Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and modified production cars for Car #110 across two starts in 2010 and 2011.[1]
Rizzi finished 27th in the championship standings in his final season. His results included a finish ahead of Andreas Ziegler, an entry-level professional with Bronze grading who has since raced extensively in the same series and at the Nürburgring 24 Hours, and ahead of Rene Steurer, another competitive amateur with 35 Nürburgring starts.[2]
