Kevin Monteith competed in karting at the SKUSA SuperNationals level, a grassroots-to-amateur championship that serves as a stepping stone between entry-level single-seater racing and professional sports car categories. His record spans two starts across the 2008 to 2014 period, with no wins or podium finishes; he averaged a finishing position of P30.5 across classified starts. The Racer Rating of 2,761 places him in the amateur ranks, well below the professional and semi-professional threshold.[1]

Despite the modest results, Monteith showed occasional competitive moments against drivers of higher standing.
