Lucian Pancea is a club-level driver competing in national solo sprint racing. He races purpose-built sports prototypes in the P2 class across SCCA's multiclass championships; his primary series is SCCA Majors, where he has competed since 2021 alongside amateur, semi-professional and professional drivers in a 25-class field. He has also raced the SCCA Runoffs and Regionals, and recently began competing in Radical Cup NA's GOLD class for DDautosports.[1]
Over five seasons Pancea has taken 7 wins and 13 podiums from 23 starts. His record in SCCA Majors spans four seasons with 5 wins and 6 podiums from 10 starts, and he won the 2023 SCCA Runoffs P2 title from four starts. His wins in SCCA Regionals came from only two entries in 2022. His current 2026 campaign in SVRA has seen him take a podium finish from five rounds run so far, sitting 54th in the championship standings.[2]
