Malon Brown races club-level motorsport in the SCCA Regionals, a national multiclass championship run in the United States. He competes in the ITX, SM and SSM classes, driving spec Mazda Miatas, and has been active since 2022. His career spans 25 starts across four seasons.[1]
Brown has taken two wins and fourteen podiums in SCCA Regionals competition. His best finishes have come against stronger drivers; he has beaten Thomas Bellemin, an entry-level professional with fifteen SCCA Regionals starts, twice, and Tommy McCarthy, a competitive amateur with eight SCCA Regionals starts, once. In 2025 so far, he has two podiums from two rounds and sits 23rd in the championship standings.[2]
In his regular peer group, Brown is closely matched with Steve Whitaker, a fellow club-level competitor, but usually finishes behind Daniel Kulas, a competitive amateur with significantly more experience in the series. The multiclass SCCA Regionals grid mixes amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals in a single race, placing Brown in a field where success against established drivers is sparse but possible.
