James Landry is a club-level driver racing in NASA, a national multiclass championship where amateur and semi-professional entrants share the track with graded professionals. He competes primarily in the Spec E46 class, which runs spec BMW E46 3-series, and has been a regular in the series since 2006. He drives for BMW.[1]
Across 20 seasons on record, Landry has made 90 starts and taken 16 wins and 38 podiums. He finished second in the NASA championship twice, in 2017 and 2020, both times driving an Acura Integra. In the current 2026 season, he sits 19th in the standings with one podium from 13 rounds raced so far.[2]
Landry races consistently against drivers at his own level. He is closely matched with Manny Coats and Benoit Pecqueur, both developing drivers with extensive NASA experience; he has also beaten Jeremy Croiset, a club-level driver with 72 NASA starts, three times in their meetings. His strongest finish over a graded amateur came against Alistair Belton, a competitive amateur who has raced across PCA, NASA and SCCA Regionals.
