Manuel Rodrigues was a semi-professional sportscar driver competing in endurance racing. His career on record spans two seasons and two starts in the World Endurance Championship, both with Larbre Competition in 2012 and 2013. He did not finish on the podium in either race, with his most recent classified result placing him 48th at the 2013 WEC finale.[1]
Rodrigues finished ahead of several established professional drivers in his limited racing. He recorded a single victory against Markus Palttala, an FIA Gold graded driver, and also beat Joël Camathias, who held FIA Silver grading, and Paul Daniels, a professional-level competitor. These results came from a small sample of races; his average finishing position across his classified starts was ninth. His career concluded in 2013, and he is now retired from racing.
