Marcus Mann raced in multiclass endurance events at the Nürburgring between 2010 and 2012. Competing in the V5 class of near-standard production cars in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, he drove shared-car racing as a club-level competitor against a field mixing amateurs with graded professionals and entry-level professionals. His most substantial campaign was with Car #530, which he drove in five of his seven starts.[1]
Mann contested two seasons across seven total starts. His final campaign in 2012 yielded a 26th-place championship standing in the V5 class, marking the extent of his indexed record. He finished ahead of Ricardo Van Der Ende, a professional driver, on one occasion, and topped Jörg Wiskirchen, a semi-professional, once in the same span.[2]
Set against regular opponents from the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie grid, Mann typically finished behind Daniel Zils, the series' dominant V5 driver and a five-time champion in the class, and Werner Gusenbauer, a competitive amateur with substantial experience in the championship.
