Müller was a competitive amateur racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass endurance championship in which amateurs and professionals share the track across fifteen classes. He raced production-based machinery in the V5 and V6 classes for five seasons from 2010 to 2014, most prominently for Car #450, an established team that fielded entry-level professionals alongside amateur drivers.[1]
Across 25 starts, Müller took nine wins and thirteen podiums, winning the 2013 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie championship. His record placed him closely matched with regular opponents including Daniel Zils, a multiple-time series champion and entry-level professional, and Matthias Unger, a fellow competitive amateur and 2010 series champion. Müller finished ahead of more seasoned drivers including Philipp Neuffer, an FIA Bronze-graded professional, and Lucas Ordóñez, an FIA Gold-graded professional who had raced in Super GT and the World Endurance Championship.[2]
