Matthew Fritz races at club level, competing in SCCA national multiclass championships in heavily modified production sports cars and production-based machinery. He has run 65 starts in SCCA Regionals across five seasons from 2022 to 2026, the series in which he has won three regional championships and taken the bulk of his results. He also competes in SCCA Majors and contested the SCCA Runoffs once in 2023.[1]
Fritz's record in Regionals stands at 12 wins and 49 podiums from 65 starts, placing him among the more frequent winners in his classes. His three Regionals titles came in 2022, 2025 and 2026. In the stronger national Majors field he has made six starts with two podium finishes. His racing has been concentrated in the EP and ITA classes, single-driver competition against amateur and semi-professional fields that include graded professionals.[2]
