🇺🇸 Rodin Younessi

Rodin Younessi is a competitive amateur and FIA Silver-graded driver based in Florida racing in national multiclass GT and sports car championships. He competes in GT America's SRO3 class, driving GT3 cars for AF Corse USA, and races Ferrari Challenge's S-AM class in Ferrari 488 and 296 Challenge cars. His primary racing sits in SCCA regional and national events, where he has also raced in SVRA vintage events and IMSA's VP Racing SportsCar Challenge.[1]

His career spans from 2012 to the present, beginning with two Indy NXT starts in a single-seater programme before turning to sports cars. His record in SCCA Regionals from 2024 onward shows five wins and nine podiums across 14 starts, his strongest sequence to date. In the international series indexed here, he has taken a win in SVRA and two podiums there, a win in WEC with Boutsen Ginion Racing in 2013, and competed in Ferrari Challenge and IMSA GT racing.[2]

Against regular opposition at his level, Younessi typically finishes behind established names in the field. He has raced repeatedly against Memo Gidley, the 2023 GT America SRO3 champion, and Tony Davis, a Ferrari Challenge regular, without outrunning them in most meetings. He has beaten professional-level drivers including David Ostella, an Indy NXT and IMSA competitor, and SVRA regular Bill Elliott on occasion. He races for AF Corse USA, an established team that has fielded multiple drivers including established professionals, and competes in fields mixing amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals in the same races.
