🇺🇸 Ross Chouest

Ross Chouest is an entry-level professional racing in national American sportscar series. He holds an FIA Bronze rating, the amateur-professional boundary in endurance and GT racing. Chouest races primarily for Chouest Povoledo Racing, the team he co-owns; he has spent most of his career in GT America, where he drives both GT4 and GT3 cars in solo sprint racing across four-class grids. He has also raced in the shared-driver GT World Challenge America and GT4 America endurance championships, which blend amateur and professional fields.[1]

His record across six indexed seasons spans 79 starts and eight wins, five of them in GT America. Chouest began racing in 2016 with two wins in Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, then took a three-year gap before returning to racing in 2019 with four starts in IMSA Prototype Challenge. He has raced steadily since 2023, building most of his record in GT America, where he has accumulated five wins and thirteen podiums in 44 starts. In GT4 America he took one win and three podiums in eight endurance starts. GT World Challenge America has yielded 21 starts with no podiums in shared-car racing against stronger fields.[2]

Chouest races regularly against Kyle Washington, an entry-level professional and fellow Bronze driver, with whom he is closely matched. His most frequent opponent is Justin Rothberg, a Silver-graded professional and multi-time GT America and GT World Challenge champion in both the SRO3 and Pro-Am classes; Chouest usually finishes behind Rothberg when they race. He has beaten George Kurtz, an established professional and two-time GT World Challenge champion, once, and Kenton Koch, a Gold-graded established professional and 2025 GT World Challenge Pro champion, also once. Most of his wins have come in the GT4 and lower-profile GT3 grids rather than against the full strength of the professional field.
