Mirco Schultis is an entry-level professional racing in national multiclass championships in the United States. He races primarily for MISHUMOTORS, competing in GT America with a GT3 car in the SRO3 class and in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge with an LMP3 prototype. He holds a Bronze FIA grading, the amateur classification in endurance and sportscar racing. His record spans 81 starts across eight seasons from 2011 to 2026.[1]
Schultis took two podiums in the IMSA WeatherTech championship during 2014 and 2015 while racing for Starworks Motorsport, and has since added five more podiums across his domestic American series in the 2020s. His most substantial recent work has come in GT America, where he has taken four podiums in 42 starts since 2023. He contested the 2012 WEC season with Lotus, finishing 21st in the championship standings across six rounds. He has also raced sparingly in GT World Challenge America and the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge.[2]
Schultis meets established drivers regularly in his national series. Memo Gidley, the 2023 GT America SRO3 champion, is a recurring competitor against whom Schultis typically finishes behind. Kyle Washington, an entry-level professional of similar standing, runs a close rivalry with Schultis across shared series. More notably, Schultis has finished ahead of Kevin Estre, the 2018 WEC LMGTE Pro champion and 2024 WEC Hypercar champion who has raced 65 World Endurance Championship rounds, on four occasions. He also beat Brendon Hartley, a Platinum-graded professional and three-time WEC champion with 88 championship starts, once.
