🇦🇺 Tom Sargent

Tom Sargent is an established professional and FIA Silver-graded driver competing in multiclass GT endurance racing. He races for GMG Racing in GT World Challenge America and Porsche Carrera Cup NA, for Wright Motorsports in IMSA WeatherTech, for Proton Competition in the European Le Mans Series, and for Absolute Corse in GT World Challenge Asia. He drives GT3 cars in the pro-am and LMGT3 classes across these championships.[1]

Over four seasons from 2023 onward, Sargent has taken 21 podiums from 62 starts and won 7 races. His record began in GT World Challenge America and Porsche Carrera Cup NA with GMG Racing, where he has combined for three wins and seven podiums across both series. He moved into IMSA WeatherTech in 2025, taking four podiums in nine starts for Wright Motorsports. He won in the European Le Mans Series in 2026 for Proton Competition and made his GT World Challenge Asia debut the same year. In the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup NA season currently underway, he has won twice from two rounds and sits eighth in the championship standings.[2]

Sargent runs regularly against established and elite professionals including Philip Ellis, a two-time IMSA WeatherTech GTD champion and FIA Gold-graded driver whom he contests closely, and Robby Foley, a Gold-graded professional and reigning GT World Challenge America Pro-Am champion against whom he typically finishes second. He has beaten Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional and three-time champion across Formula Regional Americas, Indy Pro 2000 and Indy NXT who has raced 86 times in IndyCar, and Arthur Leclerc, an established professional with 38 Formula 3 starts and 26 in Formula 2. His primary team, GMG Racing, has 35 wins across the grid and has fielded 28 drivers at professional level and above.
