🏳️ Bryce Johnson

Bryce Johnson is a club-level driver competing in SCCA national multiclass racing. He races spec Mazda MX-5s in the SMX class and small-bore production-based tuner cars in STL, competing across SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals since 2024.[1]

Johnson has taken one win and twelve podiums across 49 starts in his three seasons on record. His record in SCCA Regionals, the regional-level series, is substantially stronger than in SCCA Majors; he has won once and taken eleven podiums from seventeen starts at the regional level, including three podiums from five rounds in the 2025 season, where he finished third in the championship standings. At the national level, he has one podium from thirty-two starts.[2]

Johnson typically finishes behind the semi-professionals and entry-level professionals who make up the regular field in these series. He has raced frequently against Ryan Gutile, a semi-professional with extensive SCCA experience, and Jared Korth, an entry-level professional who has competed in national-level sports car racing; both are regular finishers ahead of him. He has beaten Ethan Lampe, a two-time SCCA Runoffs SMX champion and entry-level professional, once, and Mateo Siderman, a Silver-graded entry-level professional and 2026 World Racing League champion, twice.
