Mike Holmes competed as a semi-professional driver in multiclass endurance racing and single-class sprint competition, racing shared production-based cars in American Endurance Racing and tube-frame V8 silhouettes in Trans-Am TA2. His indexed record spans five starts across both series between 2019 and 2022, yielding one podium finish.[1]

Holmes took his podium in American Endurance Racing, where he completed three starts in the Class 1 field. In Trans-Am TA2, he made two starts in 2019 and finished 23rd in the season standings. Against the club-level regulars he faced most often, Daniel Jensen and Phillip Moore, he typically finished ahead; he also beat John Atwell, an entry-level professional and 2026 SCCA Runoffs GT2 champion, on two occasions, and Alex Vogel, a semi-professional Bronze-graded driver with significant experience in American Endurance Racing and GT competition, once.[2]
