Jeremy Fairbairn is a semi-professional single-seater racer competing in national championships across the United States and Britain. He has raced open-wheel cars in GB4 and US F4, as well as multiclass solo sprint racing in SKUSA SuperNationals and SCCA Majors, where he drove a 2-liter Formula Continental car. His most recent indexed season was 2020 in US F4.[1]
Across five seasons from 2017 to 2023, Fairbairn took 27 starts and scored two wins and four podiums. He won once in SKUSA SuperNationals in 2017 or 2018, took a podium at the SCCA Majors in 2022, and in 2023 secured a win and podium in GB4 with Graham Brunton Racing. His last full season came in US F4 in 2020, where he finished twelfth in the championship standings. He finished behind 2023 GB4 champion Tom Mills in their regular matchups, though he was closely matched with semi-professional regular Liam McNeilly across multiple series.[2]
In single-race appearances against stronger opposition, Fairbairn finished ahead of Gabriel Bortoleto, now an elite professional, FIA Platinum-graded driver and 2023 Formula 3 champion who has since raced in Formula 2 and Formula 1, and ahead of Franco Colapinto, also an elite professional Platinum-graded driver who has competed in Formula 1 and Formula 3. These remained isolated results in otherwise amateur and semi-professional fields that made up the grid for most of his career.
