Jeremy Fairbairn is a semi-professional racing driver who competed across five seasons from 2017 to 2023. He raced single-seaters in US F4 and GB4, alongside multiclass national championships in the SKUSA SuperNationals and SCCA Majors, driving a 2-liter Formula Continental open-wheel car in the latter. His primary team was KMR Motorsport, which fielded him for nine of his 27 career starts.[1]
Fairbairn took two wins across his career: one in the SKUSA SuperNationals in 2017 or 2018 and one in GB4 in 2023, when he raced for Graham Brunton Racing. He added two further podiums at the SuperNationals and one in SCCA Majors, for four podiums from 27 starts. His most sustained campaign came in US F4 in 2020, where he completed a full 12-round season and finished 12th in the championship. He scored his sole GB4 podium in 2023, his final indexed season.[2]
Fairbairn raced in fields mixing amateurs and semi-professionals with entry-level professionals. He was closely matched with Liam McNeilly, a GB4 and USF2000 driver, across multiple meetings. Against Dylan Tavella, an entry-level professional with 36 Formula Regional Americas starts, he typically finished behind. On two occasions he finished ahead of Gabriel Bortoleto, the 2023 Formula 3 champion and 2024 Formula 2 champion now racing in Formula 1, and once ahead of Franco Colapinto, a Formula 1 driver with 42 starts in the series.
