David Dalton, Jr. is a semi-professional racing solo formula cars in national championships across the United States. He competes in the Racing Prodigy series for Williams Esports, a programme that selects drivers from simulated racing competition to compete in real-world events. His earlier indexed racing includes the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series and US F4.[1]

Across three seasons from 2019 to 2025, Dalton has taken 3 wins and 8 podiums from 28 starts. His strongest results came in 2019, when he won once and finished on the podium four times in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series. In 2025, he has won twice in Racing Prodigy from ten starts and taken four podiums. His 2020 US F4 campaign yielded six starts and a 21st-place finish in the championship standings.[2]

His regular opponents include Robert Torres, a competitive amateur he usually beats, and Jackson Lee, an entry-level professional graded Silver by the FIA with whom Dalton runs closely matched.
