🏳️ Mike Mim

Mike Mim is a competitive amateur racing at the entry level of professional sportscar racing. His Racer Rating of 2,549 places him among club and regional competitors; he races in fields where full-time professionals are present but competes at a distinctly lower level. The FIA has graded him Bronze, the amateur classification within GT and endurance racing, which reflects his status as a gentleman driver sharing grids with career sportscar professionals.[1]

Mim's 2025 season, his first on record, spans Porsche sprint and endurance racing with JDX Racing. Across six starts he has posted one win, achieved in a single endurance race, and finished on average in fifth place. In the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America, where he made five starts in GT3 Cup cars, he did not reach the podium and ended the season eighth in the running order. His head-to-head record is mixed; he has consistently outpaced Eric Lapp, a fellow Bronze-graded amateur, but has been outfinished in five of five races by Alan Metni and Therese Lahlouh, both established Bronze drivers with multiple years of racing. On scattered occasions Mim has finished ahead of much stronger Silver-graded drivers such as Riley Dickinson and Alex Sedgwick, professional-level competitors, though these represent single results rather than established patterns.

Mim remains active in Porsche racing and is positioned to compete in the 2026 Porsche Endurance Challenge North America series.
