Mike Weber is a developing amateur driver competing in national solo sprint racing. He races spec Mazda Miatas in NASA's multiclass championship, where he shares a 15-class grid with amateurs and graded professionals, and more recently in SCCA Regionals, which runs 25 classes in a single event. His primary machinery across both series has been the spec MX-5, a platform he has raced since 2023.[1]
Across four years and 23 starts, Weber has taken five podiums and two wins. His move to SCCA Regionals in 2026 marked a shift in his record; he has won twice and taken two podiums from the three rounds raced so far this season and currently sits 31st in the championship standings, with more rounds still to come. In NASA, where he spent 2023 through 2025 with 20 starts, he finished on the podium three times but did not win.[2]
The field Weber races in includes established amateurs and semi-professionals with substantial national-level experience. He typically finishes behind Daniel Williams, a semi-professional with over 300 NASA starts, and Evan Lipsky, a competitive amateur with more than 100 starts in the series. He has beaten both drivers occasionally; he finished ahead of Lipsky once and Grant Lipsky, another competitive amateur regular, four times across their meetings.
