Jason Bleak is a competitive amateur racing in NASA, a national multiclass championship run across the United States. He drives a Mazda MX-5 Miata in the Spec Miata class, which fields identical cars in spec trim. Bleak has raced for Mazda Miata 81 and has been active in the series since 2018.[1]

Across nine seasons Bleak has started 157 times and taken 55 wins and 103 podiums. His 2026 season, still in progress, shows 8 wins and 14 podiums from 16 rounds, placing him third in the championship standings. He has been a consistent frontrunner in Spec Miata, a class that mixes amateurs and semi-professionals on the same grid week to week.[2]

Bleak typically finishes ahead of club-level regulars such as Steve Morrison, who has raced NASA over a full career. He has beaten established professional Jesse Love, an ARCA and NASCAR Xfinity champion, twice across their meetings in the series. His record places him firmly in the upper tier of his class, where consistency and results over nearly a decade of racing have made him a standard-bearer in Spec Miata competition.
