🏳️ Michael McGaughy

Michael McGaughy is a competitive amateur driver with a Racer Rating of 2,252, placing him in the club racing band. This level describes drivers who are quick in their field but competing primarily against semi-professional and amateur opposition rather than full-time professionals. His career on record spans only the 2025 SKUSA SuperNationals, where he made two starts and secured one podium finish.[1]

In those limited outings, McGaughy demonstrated competitive pace against drivers rated above him. He finished ahead of Edward Kennedy (3,091) twice and Cole Medeiros (3,053) twice, both semi-professional level competitors, as well as Benym Abernethy (3,056) once. His average finishing position of P3.5 across his two classified starts reflects solid performance in a debut season. The single podium result represents the bulk of his recorded output in this series.

McGaughy remains active in karting, with recent headlines indicating participation in major European championships including the WSK Final Cup and the Champions of the Future series in 2025, though these results are not yet indexed in this database. His early record suggests a developing driver gaining experience at the national and international karting level.
