Sebastian Rist is a semi-professional racer who has split his career between solo karting and shared-car endurance racing, both in national multiclass fields that mix amateurs and semi-professionals with graded professionals on the same track. He races karts in SKUSA SuperNationals, in the KA100 Junior and X30 Junior classes, and drives a prototype in the ZP2 class of the Zenith Racing Series for Automatic Racing.[1]

His karting record runs across three seasons of SKUSA SuperNationals, from 2023 to 2025, for four starts total. He has since moved into endurance racing, taking his first Zenith Racing Series start in 2026 with Automatic Racing; with one round raced so far this season, he sits 26th in the championship standings, a position that will move as the remaining rounds are run.[2]

Rist's most frequent opposition includes Max Weiland, a competitive amateur with SKUSA SuperNationals experience, and Edward Kennedy, an entry-level professional who has also raced USF Juniors and the Ligier JS F4 Series; against both he usually finishes behind. He has beaten Kennedy once, and has also finished ahead of Asad Nikadambaev, a semi-professional with a background in SCCA Regionals and Majors competition, on one occasion. Automatic Racing, his team in the Zenith Racing Series, has fielded a large driver roster including Ross Gunn, a professional.
