Sabine Yerly-Amweg was a competitive amateur racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass endurance championship held entirely at the Nürburgring. Over four seasons from 2012 to 2016, she made ten starts in shared-driver Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport and modified production-based cars, primarily for Stadler Motorsport.[1]
She took four podiums across her career, finishing tenth in the final championship standings of 2016. The strength of her record lay in consistent racing against the same core group of opponents; she was closely matched through her tenure with Dirk Groneck and Tim Mardini, both championship-winning drivers in the series who between them claimed titles in the Cup 3 and SP 3 classes across 2013, 2014 and 2015. In individual meetings, she also finished ahead of Hiroyuki Iiri, an entry-level professional with Super GT experience, and Bashar Mardini, an entry-level professional graded FIA Bronze who has raced in GT World Challenge Europe and Asian Le Mans Series.[2]
