Bashar Mardini is an entry-level professional racing in international endurance championships. Graded FIA Bronze, he races shared-driver sportscars across multiclass and single-class fields that mix amateurs with graded professionals. He competes most regularly for Lionspeed GP in GT World Challenge Europe, where he has 11 starts in the 2025–2026 season, and races for Car Collection Motorsport in the Asian Le Mans Series.[1]
Mardini's record spans nine seasons from 2013 to the present, with 31 starts across four series and a single podium finish in the 24H Series. His earliest racing came in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie between 2013 and 2015, where he drove Porsche machinery for TAM-Racing Porsche; the team he drove for, roadrunner racing GmbH, won the Cup 3 championship in 2013. He moved to international endurance racing in 2018, joining the 24H Series for Razoon – More Than Racing, where he took his only podium across those six entries. His current commitments began in 2023 with three starts in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup for Huber Racing, finishing 20th in the championship standings. He has raced the 24H Series consistently since 2018 and returned to it in 2025 while adding the Asian Le Mans Series for the first time that year.[2]
On grid, Mardini races alongside drivers of considerably stronger standing. Dustin Blattner, another FIA Bronze professional with far greater experience across these same series, regularly finishes ahead of him. More significantly, he has encountered the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champion Maro Engel, an established FIA Platinum professional with substantial single-seater and touring-car experience, finishing behind him in almost every meeting; he has nonetheless beaten Engel twice and also finished ahead of Charles Weerts, a four-time GT World Challenge Europe champion, once in their encounters.
