🇩🇪 Dirk Groneck

Dirk Groneck is a semi-professional endurance racing driver competing in German national multiclass championships. He races for RAVENOL TEAM in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he drives Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport and BMW one-make cup machinery across multiple classes, and recently entered the Nürburgring 24 Hours in a TCR touring car.[1]

Groneck has spent 15 seasons in indexed competition with 54 starts and 21 wins. His primary career lies in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he took 21 wins and 31 podiums across 53 starts between 2011 and 2023, and won the championship three times consecutively: 2013 with AMC Hoyel e.V. im ADAC, 2014 with RAVENOL Team, and 2015 with RAVENOL TEAM. He has recently entered the Nürburgring 24 Hours, taking a podium finish in his single start there so far in 2026.[2]

In a mixed field of amateurs and professionals, Groneck runs consistently competitive. He is closely matched with Holger Goedicke, a fellow semi-professional regular at the Langstrecken-Serie with 54 starts, and typically finishes ahead of Robert Lommel, another regular with 53 starts at the series. He has beaten stronger drivers in one-off meetings; among them are Maxime Soulet, a Gold-graded professional with World Challenge Europe and FIA GT Championship experience, and John Shoffner, a Bronze-graded professional and long-term Langstrecken-Serie competitor with 35 starts in that series. His result at the Nürburgring 24 Hours came in a race won by a Hyundai TCR entry.
