🇬🇧 Maxime Soulet

Maxime Soulet is a Gold-graded professional endurance driver who raced shared-car GT and multiclass championships across 17 years. He competed for Comtoyou Racing in GT World Challenge Europe, the series accounting for most of his indexed starts, and also drove for Bentley Team ABT, GetSpeed and HAAS RT in German and international endurance racing. He drove GT3 cars in GT World Challenge Europe and the 24H Series, and also raced modified production-based machinery in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie.[1]

Soulet's record spans from his first indexed outing in the 2006 FIA GT Championship through to the 2021 Nürburgring 24 Hours, a ten-season career built largely on repeat entries in GT World Challenge Europe, which provided 11 of his 24 starts. He took two podiums across his career, one in FIA GT Championship and one in 24H Series. The bulk of his racing came in fields mixing amateurs and professionals; his most consistent competition was in European GT racing, where he was closely matched against Andrea Bertolini, a three-time FIA GT champion, and regularly finished ahead of fellow regular Miguel Ramos. He also finished ahead of Matt Campbell, an established professional and two-time WEC LMGTE Am champion, on two occasions, and beat Maro Engel, a Platinum-graded driver and 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champion, once.[2]
