Roelof Bruins is a professional endurance racing driver rated 4,845 on the Elo scale, FIA Silver graded, competing in multiclass GT and production car championships at Germany's Nürburgring and across Europe. He drives GT3 and GT4 machinery for Hankook Competition and Atlas BX Motorsport, racing shared-car endurance events where multiple drivers rotate through each stint.[1]
Bruins took four wins and four podiums across six starts in the 24H Series between 2022 and 2023 in the GT4 class. He has since competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a domestic multiclass championship where he has taken one win and two podiums from five starts in higher-category machinery, racing both the SP 9 class with GT3 cars and the VT2 Front class with front-wheel-drive turbocharged cars. He currently competes in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, where he has two starts so far. His most recent campaign is the 2026 edition, still in progress.[2]
On the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie grid, where he shares the field with graded professionals including Christian Krognes, an FIA Gold driver and 2012 series champion, Bruins typically finishes ahead of Krognes. Against Luca Stolz, an established professional and FIA Platinum graded driver with extensive experience in GT World Challenge Europe and DTM, he usually finishes behind. He has recorded race finishes ahead of Max Verstappen, a four-time Formula 1 world champion who competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, on two occasions.
