🇺🇸 Alec Udell

Alec Udell is a professional driver racing in multiclass endurance championships, primarily in GT3 machinery. He holds an FIA Silver grade, the step below full professional standing in sportscar racing. His principal recent team is DXDT Racing, where he has contested multiple seasons in the IMSA WeatherTech and GT World Challenge America championships.[1]

Udell has spent 15 seasons racing in indexed series from 2008 through 2026, accumulating 95 starts across a range of national and international endurance grids. His breakthrough came in GT World Challenge America, where he won eight of nine races in 2024 in the Pro class. His earlier career included five wins across 21 starts in NASA competition and podium finishes in IMSA Pilot Challenge, Lamborghini Super Trofeo and European Le Mans Series. He took his first IMSA WeatherTech podium in 2014 and has claimed three in that championship through 2026. In European Le Mans Series, he won once from five starts in the LMGT3 class, adding two further podiums there.[2]

Udell regularly races against Gold-graded professionals who have won IMSA championships. He is closely matched with Trent Hindman, the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech GTD and 2022 IMSA Pilot Challenge champion, and with Robby Foley, who won the 2025 GT World Challenge America Pro-Am title. His record includes single podium finishes ahead of Alex Lynn, an FIA Platinum driver and 2014 GP3 champion, and Chase Briscoe, a former ARCA Menards Series champion who has raced 225 NASCAR Cup events.
