🏳️ Mitchell Taylor

Mitchell Taylor is a developing driver who raced in NASA, a national amateur and semi-professional multiclass championship where up to fifteen classes share the track in a single race. Over eleven seasons from 2010 to 2021, he started 96 times across the series' 944 Spec, PTE and PTF classes, primarily driving Porsche 944s and production-based street cars. He retired after the 2021 season.[1]

Taylor took three wins and five podiums across his career, finishing sixteenth in the final 2021 championship standings from three rounds raced that season. His most successful campaign came late in that final year, when he claimed one win and two podiums in those three rounds. He finished ahead of Harry Voigt, a semi-professional with ninety-three NASA starts, twice, and beat Ernie Francis Jr, an entry-level professional and multi-time Trans-Am champion, on two occasions as well.[2]

Taylor raced regularly against club-level opponents who typically finished ahead of him, including Ethan Loree and Zachary Munro, both frequent competitors in NASA with over sixty starts each. His record places him among the amateur and developing drivers who make up NASA's regular grid.
