Mike Travers is a club-level driver who spent a decade racing in national American single-seater and production-car championships. His primary focus was NASA, a multiclass series mixing amateurs with graded professionals across 15 classes; Travers raced Mazda MX-5s in that series from 2014 to 2024, recording 137 starts, one win and 17 podiums. He also made brief appearances in NASA Spec MX-5, PCA Club Racing and Spec MX-5 Challenge. His rating of 1,404 places him in the club band, the level of a regular competitor who finishes reliably but typically outside the front ranks.[1]

Across 146 indexed starts, Travers took 18 podiums and a single victory. His most productive seasons came in NASA, where he was a fixture for eleven years and finished among the podium finishers regularly enough to establish himself as a dependable mid-field competitor in a field that ran from developing drivers to established professionals. He raced most often against Daniel Williams, a semi-professional with over 320 NASA starts, usually finishing behind him; against Charley Williams, a developing driver with 133 NASA starts, he more often finished ahead. He also beat Parker Chase, a professional with IMSA and ARCA experience, twice, and Dakota Dickerson, an entry-level professional and Formula Regional champion, once.[2]
