Nick Halen is a semi-professional driver who raced karts in the SKUSA SuperNationals, a national multiclass championship in which amateur and professional drivers compete in the same events across eight classes. He ran in the SuperPro class for two seasons between 2006 and 2007, starting twice in total before retiring from the sport.[1]
Halen's indexed record consists of two starts in the SKUSA SuperNationals across 2006 and 2007. In that limited time on record he finished ahead of Phil Giebler, a professional driver graded FIA Silver who later competed in International Formula 3000, and Danilo Dirani, another FIA Silver professional who has since raced in the Stock Car Pro Series. Both remained regular competitors in professional karting and motorsport beyond their appearances in Halen's seasons.[2]
