Patrick Utt is a club-level driver racing in national American single-class and multiclass championships. He competes primarily in SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals, where he drives a tube-frame silhouette GT car in the GT2 class, and has raced Trans-Am since 2025. He is currently competing in Trans-Am for 2026.[1]
Utt has taken six podiums from seven Trans-Am rounds so far this season and sits third in the championship standings. Across his career since 2019, he has recorded 47 starts and 17 podiums. His best results have come in SCCA Regionals, where he scored one win and eight podiums from nine starts; in Trans-Am proper he has finished on the podium in eight of nine starts. His record in SCCA Majors, the largest championship he competes in regularly, spans 21 starts with one podium.[2]
Utt races regularly against Barry Boes, a two-time SCCA Majors GT2 champion and entry-level professional, and Justin Elder, a semi-professional with extensive SCCA experience. Against both drivers, his typical result is to finish behind them. He has been outrun by stronger competition from outside his regular grid; he finished ahead of NASCAR elite Christopher Bell and Ty Gibbs once each, though both drivers were competing outside their primary series when those meetings occurred.
