Phil Quaife is an entry-level professional racing driver, FIA Silver graded, competing in multiclass endurance racing with shared-drive cars. He has raced primarily in the 24H Series for Dragon Racing between 2017 and 2019, piloting Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and GT4 machinery, and latterly in the British GT Championship for Team Parker Racing in GT4 and one-make cup cars from 2020 onwards.[1]
Across six indexed starts spanning 2009 to 2024, Quaife has taken one win and two podium finishes. His sole victory came in the 24H Series, where he was a regular competitor against drivers of mixed amateur and semi-professional standing. His entry into graded professional racing came via the FIA GT Championship in 2009, where he finished 24th in the championship standings with CRS Racing. He returned to racing a decade later in the 24H Series and has since appeared sporadically in British GT.[2]
The company he keeps in endurance racing reflects his status as an early-career professional. Ryan Ratcliffe, also an entry-level professional with regular 24H Series starts, has usually finished ahead of him when they have met. Quaife has, however, finished ahead of established professionals including Michael Bartels, a three-time FIA GT Championship champion, and Anthony Davidson, a Platinum-graded former Formula 1 driver and 2014 WEC LMP1 champion, though these victories occurred once each across his career span.
