Pierre Vacherand is a retired club-level racer with a rating of 734, placing him among developing drivers; this level describes competitors who appear consistently in club and regional fields but have not yet established themselves as quick on a broader stage. Vacherand raced in NASA competition between 2007 and 2010, accumulating 20 starts across four seasons. He scored three podiums but no victories, with an average finishing position of 6.8 across classified races.[1]
Vacherand's record shows him running at the back of a competitive club field. He finished ahead of Robert Lamb, a four-time NASA Thunder Roadster champion, on a single occasion out of 17 meetings; he was outpaced by Lamb in 16 others. Against Richard Ferreira, another strong local competitor, Vacherand managed only two wins in 16 shared races. His most consistent result came against weaker club drivers, notably Ralph Bush, whom he beat in all 15 of their encounters. His final season, 2010, saw him place tenth across five rounds without podium finishes, and he has not raced since.
