Schall finished on the podium in his sole appearance at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. His result placed him ahead of drivers with considerably more experience in endurance racing, including Oliver Sprungmann, a semi-professional who had contested eight Nürburgring 24 Hours entries by that point, and Michael Mohr, a club-level driver with 36 starts in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie.[2]
