Roberto Reina is a developing driver racing in the SCCA national championship, competing in the FF class Formula Ford cars across the Majors, Regionals and Runoffs series; he has also raced the GTL class in the Majors. His racing is multiclass, solo sprint events held across the United States in fields mixing amateur, semi-professional and professional entrants.[1]
Reina has recorded six podiums from 21 starts across three seasons since 2024. His results are concentrated in the SCCA Regionals, where he has taken six podiums in nine starts. The Majors and Runoffs have yielded starts only; he competed once in each of the 2025 and 2026 Runoffs. In 2026, his first season at Runoffs level, he has taken one start so far.[2]
He typically finishes behind semi-professional regulars; Tazio Stefanelli, the 2024 SCCA Runoffs FF champion, and Theodore Burns are established competitors on the grid whom Reina meets often and trails consistently. He has beaten Wesley Gundler, a semi-professional with 18 USF2000 starts elsewhere, and Jackson Tovo, who has raced Trans-Am TA2 and TGRNA among other series, once each.
