Ron Wake is a developing amateur racer in United States national-level open-wheel racing. He competed in the SCCA's Majors and Regionals series and the Runoffs, driving Formula Vee single-seater cars in the FV class alongside semi-professional and professional drivers in multiclass fields.[1]
Wake raced for three seasons from 2021 to 2023 across ten starts. He took one win and two podiums, both coming in the SCCA Regionals in 2023. His record against regular opponents shows him closely matched with Donald Manthe and usually finishing behind Robert Posner, both developing drivers with their own SCCA experience. He finished ahead of Braydon Arthur, an entry-level professional with significant international touring car and GT4 racing on record, once during his career.[2]
