Ronaldo Azevedo competed in American Endurance Racing between 2018 and 2020, accumulating eight starts across three seasons before retiring. He scored a single podium finish and averaged seventh place in classified races, demonstrating middling competitiveness in the series. His most recent activity came in 2020, when he started two rounds and finished well outside the points.[1]
Azevedo's head-to-head record against his most frequent rivals was consistently difficult. He finished behind Jeffrey Herridge, a 2016 American Endurance Racing Class 5 champion, in four of five shared races; he also trailed both David Ellman and Vinh Chau in all four races against each. His sole podium result came as part of a mixed record against stronger opposition; he beat the FIA Gold-graded Jeff Segal once and the multiple-time SCCA Majors T4 champion Marc Cefalo once, but these isolated results were outweighed by his typical finishing position in a moderately competitive field. His rating of 479 places him at the developing level, describing a driver whose record does not yet show sustained competitiveness among established racers.
