Scott Bove is a club-level driver who raced in national amateur and semi-professional multiclass championships. His indexed record spans PCA Club Racing and NASA between 2004 and 2011, driving naturally aspirated Porsches in PCA's I class and BMWs and Porsches in NASA's 944 Cup and GTS4 classes.[1]
Bove won three of three starts in PCA Club Racing from 2004 to 2006, taking the class in every outing he made. He then moved to NASA, where he competed from 2007 to 2011 with six starts across its classes, taking two wins and three podiums total. His record across both series stands at five wins from nine starts. His most recent indexed season was PCA in 2006, when he took one win and finished 28th in the championship standings.[2]
Racing against developing and competitive amateur drivers who made up the regular fields in these series, Bove typically finished ahead of Robert Pecori, a developing driver who was a PCA and NASA regular, and ahead of Mark Klenin, a competitive amateur with FIA Bronze grading who had raced 45 NASA starts. He also beat Ross Poole, a competitive amateur and later champion of the International GT CAY3.8, twice in their meetings.
