🏳️ Brant Giere

Brant Giere is a competitive amateur racer competing in multiple single-driver and shared-car championships across the United States. He races primarily in NASA, a national multiclass series where he has piloted Porsches in the 944 Cup, 944 Spec and GTS1 classes since 2007. He has also campaigned a Porsche 944 for a team fielding 21 drivers over his 23 starts with them, and more recently has raced a 3.8-litre Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car in International GT's GT3.8 class.[1]

Over 17 seasons indexed from 2007 to 2026, Giere has accumulated 79 starts across four series, taking 6 wins and 38 podiums. His heaviest concentration of racing has been in NASA, where he posted 63 starts with 3 wins and 32 podiums between 2007 and 2021. He moved into International GT in 2022 and has taken 1 win and 3 podiums across 9 starts there. A brief campaign in PCA Club Racing in 2009 and 2010 saw him win twice in six starts, and he made one appearance in American Endurance Racing's multiclass format in 2021.[2]

In NASA's mixed amateur and professional fields, Giere typically finishes ahead of fellow developing drivers Shannon McCue and John Graber, with whom he has raced repeatedly. He has beaten Michael Cooper, a Silver-graded professional with extensive experience in NASA, IMSA Pilot Challenge and GT4 America, in three meetings. His record in International GT places him among drivers competing in a field spanning amateurs to graded professionals in the same grid.
