Matt Giuffre is a club-level driver who raced in national amateur and semi-professional multiclass sprint championships in the United States. His primary series was NASA, where he drove a Porsche 944 for five seasons between 2019 and 2023; he also contested the SCCA's Majors, Regionals and Runoffs in near-stock economy hatchbacks in 2022.[1]
Giuffre took 15 wins and 27 podiums across 37 NASA starts, establishing himself as a consistent front-runner in the 944 Spec class. His record in SCCA competition was limited; he finished on the podium in three of seven Majors starts and made single appearances in the Regionals and Runoffs. Across all series he accumulated 30 podiums from 47 starts and retired after 2022.[2]
In NASA he raced regularly against Derrek Morehead, a semi-professional with 99 starts in the series, and finished ahead of club-level regular Stu Jones. He also beat professional driver Michael Cooper, who holds a Silver FIA grade and has competed in IMSA Pilot Challenge and GT4 America, 11 times across their meetings in NASA.
