Frank Widmoser is a club-level driver racing in national multiclass championships in the United States. He competes in SCCA Majors and the SCCA Runoffs, driving a tube-frame silhouette GT car in the GT2 class, and has also raced in NASA's Super Touring 2 class for 600 Racing GT Thunder Roadster.[1]
Widmoser has taken two wins and five podiums from eleven starts across three seasons of racing from 2020 to the present. His record centers on SCCA Majors, where he has won twice in six starts and finished on the podium in five of those six races. His results against regular opponents place him as closely matched with Bryan Kerrick, a fellow club-level driver with extensive experience in both SCCA Majors and NASA, while he typically finishes ahead of Robert Kacprowicz, a developing-level competitor.[2]
Among the stronger drivers he has raced, Widmoser has beaten John Atwell twice; Atwell won the 2025 SCCA Majors GT2 championship and has also raced in Trans-Am TA2. He has also finished ahead of Roger Reuse, an entry-level professional with starts in NASCAR Truck and NASCAR Xfinity, on two occasions.
